iG expands in console games

Today after announcing our new Counter Strike 1.6 lineup, we have more news regarding additions to our current roster. Today infernal Gamers takes a step further into the console games as we add a new Xbox 360º team for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 game.

Coming from teams like H2k, vVv and Rive, we are happy to welcome four new members of our diabolical family, whom are more than willing to represent our organization in MW2. With quite some experience on their own, this guys are what we can call a smart addition and one more spot for our name in the gaming scene.

The new infernal Gamers Modern Warfare 2 roster is:

United Kingdom Jonathan 'Harbz' Harbige
United Kingdom Danny 'Defex' Chapman
United Kingdom Ross 'NurveZ' Bethray
United Kingdom Steven 'StyLiN' Conroy

Here I give you some word we were able to pull out from Harbz, MW2 squad leader:

We just want to say a big thanks to Marck and all of the staff at infernal Gamers for giving us this chance to play for their organization. We are proud to finally be representing a profound organization such as infernal Gamers. We as a team feel this to be great progression and will strive to do our best to place well in any online/LAN events we cross into.

Welcome guys to what we hope will be your home for a very long time, and a bridge for you into success. Since now we wish you best of luck in your future adventures as part of iG. and hoping to keep the good news coming.

of a pumpkinAfter the sad departure of our Counter Strike 1.6 Finnish to join eXelon lines, we quickly our hands busy trying to find a suitable replacement. So we have came across a very talented bunch of guys, which caught our atention due to their latest results. The guys from gRillfestan, a Danish team taking part of ESL Amateur Series have been achieving very good results at this league; the most recent one, today after they beat the very well known Finnish team Power Gaming 16-5 in de_tuscan.

We are very happy to give them the chance to represent our organization in the Counter Strike scene, chance we are sure they will use the best way possible. We also would like to thank Jonkkis and his guys for the time they invested in infernal Gamers, and even when they could have left in better way than the one they did we will always remember you guys and you will always have a home in iG.

wNv announce disbandment

picture<br />
of a pumpkinwNv have announced the dissolution of their Counter-Strike team and the gaming club altogether.
The Chinese team was on show at the MSI BEAT IT finals last weekend, crashing out of the event in the group stage with just six points from five matches.

In Beijing, wNv did not compete with their full line-up, but with three stand-ins, as Che "enter" Lei was away on holiday, and both Zhao "xpy" Xiaoyu and Hou "bigun" Hao could not attend the event due to personal reasons.

wNv returned to activity in April in time for the WCG qualifiers in China, but the team's lack of good results seems to have made the organisation shut the project down.

Meanwhile, wNv have announced they have reached an agreement with eFuture for the transfers of Che "enter" Lei and Huang "Space" XiaoTian.

wNv had the following team:

China Huang "Space" XiaoTian
China Che "enter" Lei
China Hou "bigun" Hao
China Wang "aska" Xi
China Zhao "xpy" Xiaoyu
